    Basic IF function

I haven't used excel in a couple of years and my current position requires me to use it. Need help with a what is probably a very basic function for people who use it with any regularity.

I need to sum a column (i.e A2:A5), I need the sum listed and the cell to be highlighted yellow for totals over 0, and red if the total is 0.

Pretty basic but can't quite remember how to do it. Thanks for any help.

    =Sum(A2:A5) will sum the values,

Then you select the cell with the total and go to Format|Conditional Format and choose Cell Value Is from 1st drop down and select Is Greater than from 2nd drop down and enter =0 in formula field.

Then click Format and choose colour or style from Font tab.

    Click Ok.

    Click Add.

Repeat above choosed Is Equal To and entering =0 for 2nd condition.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
