Brain cramp!!!

In the sheet:

A B
1 TOM 6
2 JANE 3
3 TOM 4
4 TOM 0
4 ED 1
6 TOM 2

I want to count the number of occurances in column B greater than .01 that correspond to the name Tom in column A. The result I'm looking for is 3. In other words, if column A listed salespeople and column B represented the number of products they sold in each sale, Tom would have made 3 "sales".

The sheet I'm using is significantly more complicated and there are many rows seperating the source column and the data column if it makes any difference.

=SUMPRODUCT(--(A1:A6="TOM"),(--(B1:B6>0)))

Result = 3

Thanks! That didn't quite get it but sumproduct operation yielded the proper results. I used =SUMPRODUCT((CX.xls!$C2:$C200="STARON")*((CX.xls!$G2:$G200>0.1))). The multiplication in the middle was the missing link to make this work. Thanks again!
