Hi

I have posted a problem (http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...cell+reference) but have come across the following which may be a sort-of solution to my problem..

(not sure if I should have stayed in the post below or it is considered a new question so I hope I have broken no rules)
http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...cell+reference

I tried this but it did not work: =MATCH(L7,'Nat''l Linked'!B:B,0)

My question to this post - what can you use to get the cell reference/location (not contents/value) if the list has blanks in and may not be in order and is also on another sheet?

If this could be answered, it would help with the solution to my post.

Any experts can assist?

p.s. - this must be excel function - not VBA.

Thanks.
