    IF Function Help!

Hi I am basically an excel beginner when it comes to worksheet functions. I am trying to set up an if statement that checks if a cell is blank, if it is blank, then check the next cell. If that cell is blank to check the next cell ( until the cell is not blank, then return the non-blank cell's value).

    for example:
If cell N1 is blank then check cell M1 else enter the value
If M1 is blank check L1, else enter the value
If L1 is blank check K1, else enter the value.... etc.

    Can anyone help???

    Thanks!
    KJ

This formula will find the last cell in range A1:N1 that has a value in it and return that value.

    =LOOKUP(9.9999999E+307,A1:N1)

    Is this sufficient?
Where there is a will there are many ways.

    Back to the Drawing Board!

I am using a program called Crystal Xcelsius along with my spreadsheet... Xcelsius does not support the look-up function Is there any way to do this using the IF statement, or IFBLANK or HLOOKUP ?

If it supports HLOOKUP, then try:

    =HLOOKUP(9.9999999E+307,A1:N1,1)
