Urgent Help Neeeded - Return Values based on Conditions

You datafile on the link does not relate to the files in the example, why not post a zipped excel file to this thread and see if you have any more joy

If the data range is always sorted by date and then code the first match will always be the match

In the attached sheet it did not like the date format when i pasted it, as im in the uk. However the logic still stands
