Hi all,
I posted a replay in this topic: http://www.excelforum.com/excel-work...uplicates.html but I was advised to start my own thread.
In the attached file it is possible to create random groups. I didn’t make it, member rooster2005 did and I made a copy of it.
In his case it didn’t matter if a student where in the same case again. But in my case, it does!
The ideal situation would be that a teacher will not see a same student for as long a possible.
So if a student (name = 1) already has been in group 1 he can’t be in group 1 for case 2 till 6.
It is possible to write all the combinations down and let Excel 2007 check the values with the duplications function but I’m wondering if it is possible to make it more automatically.
Thanks!
