    selecting names from dropdown list

    Total moron here needs help with excel!!

    Trying to figure out how to have a drop down list that would allow me to select from the list an input into a grid i.e. 100 names into a 10x10 grid.

    And actually what would be even better would be to have headers in the list i.e. one list with both men and women listed together.

    MEN
    john
    mark
    ...
    robert
    WOMEN
    jane
    lisa
    ...
    meg

    I would like for the list to eliminate names already used if possible.

    Hope that i'm clear and someone can help me!
