Question Drop Downs and Conditional formulas

I created a drop down menu and I'm wondering how to make it so that when a certain item is selected, a list of information (on another sheet) is pasted in the cells next to the drop down menu automatically.

Should I try a macro? I'm guessing there's an easier way

If your drop-down list is using Data Validation or a linkedcell from a combobox, then in the cells to the right of your drop-down you can probably use VLOOKUP formulas to pull in the data from the other workbook/worksheet.

If your lookup column isn't the first column in your other data source, you can still do it but using INDEX/MATCH formulas.
