    calculations not working

    Hi All,

    I have a question about calculations. I have a spreadsheet with several calculated fields for example :=D16*$E$2. This was working great up until last night. Just now I opened the spreadsheet and when I change the value in E2, nothing happens to the rest of the fields that have a calculation with E2. Also, I did a sum of several fields in the D column. Then I copied the sum formula over to the E, F, G, and H columns. The value in the sum field for column D is 4 and that's the same value I get in the other fields I copied the sum formula, too, although the values being summed up are higher. I checked to make sure that all the summary fields are referring to the correct columns and they are.

    So in short, it seems that the calculations are just being ignored. Did I accidentally change a setting or something?

    Just a guess, but you probably have calulation set on manual. Hit F9 and see if everything re-calcs. If so, Go to Tools - Options and check off automatic in the calculation tab.
