    create multiple dependent lists

    Hi,

I need to create 4 dependent lists. for Ex. cell A2 list value will be based on what is selected in cell A1, cell A3 list value will depend on cell list A2, cell A4 list value will depend on cell list A3 value.

I am attaching the data (not sensitive or confidential). What i want form the data is if I select "Attribute" from A1, A2 list should give "Defects (Count)" &
"Defectives (Either / or)" values, if i select ""Defects (Count)" from cell A2, then A3 list should give "n constant" & "Avg / unit n not constant" as values and so on.....

Plz help.. it tried contextures.com but it gives help on max 1 dependent list.

    Hi,

If you need more than one dependent list just repeat the process - follow the contextures guidance and you won't have a problem.

    Hi

How about updating your example file with what you have already achieved to date, and explain where it is going wrong. Saves us having to repeat work you have already covered.

    A new beginning

    Hi Sanmint,

Attached is a beginning for you - you will probably need to use lookups for the final column as named ranges cannot contain charactors such as =,<,> etc.

From this you should be able to work out how the dependents work if you need to extend them.
