    Referencing other Sheets through Cell content

    Finally have a recreational problem rather than my usual work related ones. I’m working on creating weapon tables for roleplaying (Rolemaster). Each worksheet will have a specific weapon chart. Players will input variables like weapon used, die roll, range to target, etc into the calc sheet and that will reference the correct weapon chart and come back with damage done.

    I’m having the same problem in Cell C12, C11 and intermediate calcs (trying to figure things out) G5.

    Every sheet will have named ranges called “range” and “table.” The value in D5 will be the same as the tab name for each table. I tried things like;

    As seen in cell C12, it’s not just with named ranges, it doesn’t work with cell references either.

    Anyway I can create this “Calculator” to look at specific worksheets depending on what is in D5?

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks! Works great. Someday I'll figure out Excel logic.
