    Setting up multiple filters

I need to be able to set up filters for different columns. My challenge is that their are sub columns to filter by instead of the main column header...

When i click the auto filter button, it immediately filters the row i've selected. If i attempt to filter sub category in another column, I lose my filter at the top...

How can i choose which columns or set of data I want to filter?

    Thanks,
    Ryan.

Highlight the actual range to filter, including the header row, then select Data > Filter > AutoFilter from the menu.
