Calculations Based on Cell Format

If you have one column that contains currency values which are in a "normal" font or a "bold" font, is it possible to perform addition or SUM to obtain two different totals.

For example: bold number represent credit card charges, while normal numbers represent out of pocket expenses. Can you have two TOTAL cells to sum these numbers?
