Hide a checkbox when hiding the row it is in

I have been trying to find a way to hide a check box inserted from the Forms tool bar when I am trying to hide the row that the check box is in. When I hide the row, the check box remains visible. If I go to format control, the "move and size with cells" is grayed out so I can not select that option to see if that would resolve the issue.

Does anyone know how to hide a check box when hiding the row it is in? I am not a visual basic guy so if your solution involves writing code, be prepared for having to lead me around by the nose.

    Thanks

    Hello MacD,

Does checking or unchecking the box perform any function or it simply a visual indicator? If it is purely visual then there are ways do display a "check box" as part of the cell and it will hide when the row is hidden.

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
