Function to match random list values to set list values.

This attachment has a part of what i need to do. The list on the far left of the page is the reference list. The list of state abbreviations go with the list of Major City names. What i need is to match the Major Cities in column "C" to column "F" according to the abbreviations.

    For Example:
in C2 the Major City is "Birmingham", this corresponding to the state AL. Now every time that AL shows up in column "G" I need Birmingham in column F. So in row 33 AL first appears and that is where I need Birmingham in cell F33. This is for all the abbreviations in column G, that they match with column B.

If more clarification is needed please let me know

    Talking Perfect

Thats exactly what I was looking for. I was trying to get it done with a =if function and now i see why it wasn't working....the lookup works much better.
