Name change on contingent drop-down lists

I have a few drop-down lists that are contingent on what displays in another cell. The problem is that I've had to change them around and now I have named ranges that won't let me overwrite. I need to keep the same name for the range of cells, but the range of cells needs to be a different column and number of rows.

Is there a way to remove an old named range from the cell Name Box?

Insert > Name > Define, select the name, Delete.
