Vlookup - Words with different spelling

Hi,
I'm currently importing webpages into excel, 1 web site is league tables the other is fixtures.

Both webpage spell the teams differently, examples below.

Is there a way to do a Vlookup without both team names matching exactly.

Data
League table team spelling
Man._Utd.
Man._City
Aston_Villa
Derby


Fixtures team spelling
Manchester United
Manchester City
Aston Villa
Derby County

Not really. I would use vlookup from a separate "translation table".
