Counting cells that are colored in

Hi all...second try here...
I have numberous cells that are colored in to reflect whether the number in the cell is negative (red) or positive (green). Some of these cells are conditionally formatted to automatically color themselves in, while others I color in manually.
Question: is there a way excel can count the number of cells colored in with a certain color so I can get a percentage/ratio of red cells to green cells? Thanks!

You need a macro to count by color. Conditional format is different so you may need to look at a few sections
