    Parameter Query Problem

Hi everyone, I'm having a little problem with a parameter query I've got setup in an Excel sheet. Right now I've got it setup with the "Like" function so that the user can use the wildcard %. The query is based off of the criteria they enter in a cell on the sheet (an invoice number), with the auto-refresh on change option.

I'm running into problems using wildcards though. It seems when I'm using the % wildcard, it's only giving results for how many % I use (ex. if I use %23, it'll find invoices like 23, 123, 223, 323, etc, but not 1023).

Am I using the wrong wildcard in this case? Following is my criteria in Query:

    Like [Enter Invoice Number]

The user types in the wildcard character when they input the remainder of the invoice number.

    Thanks for any help!

    Try * as the wildcard.
