    Frustrating Formula!

Ok I am using the =linest() function.. but with the x-values I want to use
    multiple independent columns.

    I.e. B2:B100, C2:C100, E2:E100.

But how do I use multiple columns without using the "," as it will then move onto the next argument in the function.

    Any help??

    Thanks in advance

This is just a guess since I never use that Linest() function....

Try selecting the 3 ranges while holding the CTRL key down and then name the entire range through Insert|Name|Define...

then reference that named range in your formula....

    can't guarantee it'll work...some functions don't like that approach.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Hmm unfortunately that doesnt work either..

The problem extends to any function whereby you have to enter an array of variables that are connected - you cannot have any disconnected columns.
