Problem with SUM function; won't display result.

    Hi All,
I would love your advice on this and other things but this particular problem has me stumped.

In column "F" I have a list of 120 binary responses, coded as either "c" or "ic".
In column "G" I have a conditional function, whereby "c" in column "F" is coded to 1, and "ic" in column "F" is coded to 0.

In column H, I want to sum totals from column G in intervals of 10 cells. So my function for column G is of the form "=SUM(G3:G12)" etc.
One of the problems I have run into with this is that once the sum function is put in, I get a 0 value printed to the cell! The pop up window that I fill in for the SUM function shows me the correct result, however the G cell consistently gives me 0!
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong or is there some default setting that I need to modify?

Thanks so much in advance for your help.
    Elle

    Sum function problems

Well. Call me what you will but I can't figure out how to attach it. Is there a suggested format I can convert it to?

    Million thanks

Dude, thank you so much. Not exactly sure where I went wrong, but your fix is exactly what the file needed.
    Best,
