create duplicate sheets of the master sheet and update to link

    Hell all-

    Scenario
Two workbooks each containing 25 sheets

    Workbook1 ~example sheets: Week 1 Total & Summary, Week 2 Totals & Summary etc...

Workbook2 ~example sheets: Daily totals week 1, Daily totals week 2 etc...

On workbook 1 I have the master sheet created with all needed link(s) to workbook 2 ~example workbook/sheet1 to workbook2/Sheet1

    Ok now to the questions
Is there away to create duplicate sheets of the master sheet and update to link(s) to the proper corresponding sheet?? I don't care if i need to even buy some add-on I just need to get this off my desk

If I have to do 25 sheets X40 cells by hand I may just cry

    Thank you
    The Badouin

    Welcome to the forum

Can you please take a couple of mins to read the forum rules below and the message to cross posters.

After that please add the link to the other excel forum you've posted this question to.

    Many thanks

    Not the same forum.

A lot of people answer questions on the same excel forums. If you bothered to read the message to cross posters you would know why it's frowned upon

PS. Still waiting for you to add the link otherwise thread will be closed

And on Oz, people are routinely banned for cross-posting without a link.

I think the rule to follow is to follow the rules of the forum where you post.

I have nothing against cross posting but i do mind when someone does not post the link(s) and i end up wasting my free time to help those who couldn't give a toss how many people work on it as long as they get their answer!

No reflection on you The Badouin but it does compound things when so many do it then eventually you don't want to bother helping!

    Simon,

This is why I police it. I don't want anyone here wasting time answering a question without the knowledge it has being cross posted elsewhere.

    TheBadouin,

    Thanks for the link
