Ok please look at this screen shot first:

S1= data I have in worksheet 1
S2= data I have in worksheet 2
I want column A values to check if they have an equal value within column D and if there is a match, place the info in column E into the column C.. if that makes any sense... sorry

=If(isnumber(match(A1,D:D,0)),Vlookup(A1,D:E,2,0),"")
copied down
