    sum product

    I want to sum each column titled distribution in column B. There are about 25 columns going to column GD with the title name distribution.........

    Can I sum each one of those columns with doing the =z2+ay2+bb2+.......

    Assuming that the header "distribution" is in row 1 and your data is in row 2.

    YES, this works and much easier than the one I just wrote, but it works, but I like yours better, thanks.

    =SUM(IF(NOT(ISERR(SEARCH($H$1,$Q$1:$Z$1))),Q2:Z2,""))
