URGENT help needed

Well I am having to present a presentation at work tuesday and need to do some analysis on some data I have.

Here is what I need:
1. Prediction of number of firefighters per 10,000 people in county, with total population and home size as predictor (independent) variables.

2. Use a second order (quadratic) model for the total population to predict the number of firefighters per 10,000 people.

3. Perform a first order regression model using the number of active firefigters per 10,000 people as dependent variable and total population, home sizee, county as predictor (independent) variables.

I really have no idea how to do this so ANY help you can give me would be great!!!
