Review of Index and Match Formula

    G'day Everybody,

    Cross post thread Title: Dates

I helped out the challenge above. But I reviewed the workbook and I'm unhappy due to some inaccurate data returns, in this case does not return.

I wish if someone review and make a recommendation on tweaking or rework the workbook.

In the workbook, I've unhidden all the column and rows that does the majority of the formulating.

Note: I will be send a PM to Robo, about my concern of the inaccurate data return, just in case he/she is unaware of the problem.

Edit: Please note the ss named Cash Flow in the original file in Row 1 the formula was CEILING and now its showing MROUND but this formula has not been filled over the required rows
    Cheers

    Here's an alternative.
If you don't like you might want to take a look at
    a) the formula in column D, sheet 'Cash flow'. It was inconsistant with the other formulas.
    b) column D in the other sheet, February don't have 30days.
    c) the mixing of ceiling/mround formula as you say makes it inconsistant. I don't know what you want here. But the 20th pay date is missing in some periods.
    //Ola
    ..and I changed the printout

    G'day olasa,

    Thanks for the response.

When I received a response for Robo in the other thread I went to double check because I only check like August and Sept and they worked fine then check the rest. *O S**T*.
Then started to play with the formula in row 1 on the Cash Flow sheet. Then realising that I must tell Robo of the dilemma that I have created. Then make it worst that I submitted the workbook in this thread that I was I experimenting on.

    a) That one cell (the inconsistant one) just has a ISNA statement wraping the original formula. That's the differents.

    b) Yes, that a new problem that needs to be addressed.

    c) This is the original problem that plagues the spreadsheet. How can it be fixed ??.

    G'day Robo,

Well as they said there is more than one way to cook an egg.

This is the way I cooked this egg.

There is a field (C30:U42) in the Cash Flow were you enter the weekday that is indentical to the one in row 5 and the total on the Cred.pay will follow across.
Edit: Plus this will overcome the problem of Feburary you can specially allocate will the extra field

If there is anymore question just PM me or email (See the PM).

    Cheers
