Which function do I use for this situation?

I am not a genious when it comes to Excel. I want to look for a string in all of column C and if it finds the number 69559 then it returns the text "Claims" in the next column over.

So if it finds 69559 in cell C34 then it will display "Claims" in cell D34. If it finds 69559 in cell C89 then it will return the value "Claims" in cell D89.

What would the best way to approach this? A VLOOKUP, or an IF statement or an INDEX?

    Simple if statement

    =IF(C1=69559,"Claims","")
Drag down to last entry in Col C
