Format Cell color Using If Condition

    Hi,

I am working with a sheet and have 7-8 criterias in a sheet. For eg. If I select Salesman from from dropdown it should give me red color, if I select Engineer it should give me green color. I tried conditional formatting but it has limit of 3 conditions and I have 7-8 critierias. Is it possible to either have more than 3 conditions in conditional formatting or use if formula so that as soon as user select a criteria it should give color accordingly.

Thanking you and waiting for your kind reply.

    Regards,

    Amit

    Hi Amit,

You'll have to use VBA to handle this.

Copy the code below into the VBA object of the worksheet where you want to use it.
