Formula not showing the correct percentage...

    Formula not showing the correct percentage...

    Hi all,

    Having trouble with getting the right end result.

    The table attached shows a breakdown of results, yet the formula is showing the wrong result. I must be doing something worng. Any help appriacted.

    If you mean I3 shows 0.1 instead of 9.1% that is due to the number format being used in I3.
    Set it to be percentage, as the other cells and you will get the result you expect.

    Thanks Andy. Yeah I'm okay on formats, but within the attached sheet, I'm getting 9.1% for 10 in a 100, it should be 10%!!!!!!! That's the problem.

    Well, my main point Andy is that the right percentage figure is not being shown. For some reason the formula is not working.... unsure as to why....

    But my point is that 10 as a percent of 110 is 9.1% which is what you formula is showing.

    Maybe you need to explain what you think the value should be and why.
