Lookup funciton to fill multiple cells?

I have been trying to get this to work all day using different functions. If someone could point me in the right direction as to which function (if any) will do what I’m trying to accomplish, I should be able to figure it out from there. Thanks for any help.

Here is what I’m trying to accomplish:

I have included a sample sheet.

Match Cell H7 on sheets: ‘person 1’, ‘person 2’, with all occurrences on import sheet in column A.

When H7 matches the value on the import sheet column A, I want to fill columns a:f on the persons invoice with the data contained on the import sheet, with a new line for every occurence of an H7 match. So in a nutshell, I want to fill all the invoices columns a-f information, without having to copy and paste from the import sheet.

    Is this possible?

    Hi,

This is seriously messy but it works. Take a look at the Person 1 sheet. The formulas are in there. Searching through each "horrible looking" formula you will see I increment the match lookup as you move down the rows. You can apply that to the Person 2 sheet also.

However I seriously would understand if you took another route. Personally I would have rather coded this in a macro. Mainly because I am much more proficient at it. This was just an interesting problem. Regardless, I hope this helps you.

Wow! Messy it was, but it DID do the trick for all 70 "persons". Thanks for the help!
