    Calculating a fuel surcharge

I am trying to create a worksheet to automatically calculate a fuel surcharge based on current fuel prices. Based on the different range levels, I'd like to increase the charge similar to the list below.

    $2.68 - $2.78 0.60%
    $2.78 - $2.88 1.20%
    $2.88 - $2.98 1.80%
    $2.98 - $3.08 2.40%
    $3.08 - $3.18 3.00%

How can I do this in Excel?
