    selection equal to corresponding cell

    Hi Experts,

    I'm currently working on this file and what i want to do is that, excel would be able to get the value that corresponds to the selection the user entered. Attached is the sample file.

    Thanks so much....i'm stuck with this one.please help me.

    Try:

    =VLOOKUP("x",$A$2:$B$17,2,0)


    where an "x" is placed in any one cell within range A2:A17
