How to remove automatic $$ to links

    Hello,

I am linking several worksheets that automatically carry the $ sign over with the column and row location, how can i turn that function off?

    Thank you in advance.

You can't do it globally without a macro, but you can select each cell and use repeated clicks of the F4 key to cycle through the absolute $ row/column references.

    Find and Replace $

I'm not sure I understand but if you want to replace all $ you can use menu: Edit, Replace...
Hold down the Ctrl-key and click on all cell you want to include (unless you want All cells to be affected).

    Hope this helped
    Ola

Note: Sometimes 'special Go To' can be very useful. Menu: Edit, Go To..., Special...,

    Cool

Thank you, but I am aware of both of those options. I don't recall the absolute reference showing up unless you actually wanted it when linking.
