    Worksheet Not Decrementing

I am using 2003 Excel to run inventory at work. The spreadsheet has 14 columns for part number, manufacture, date code, etc. and I have 35,000 lines making it about 10.2 mb large. I have had problems recently with the file not always decrementing, that is I reduce or delete parts which have sold and they do not always change when I save file, causing problems in the inventory .This does not happen every time, but is an intermittent problem. Is this file too large? Would an update to 2007 solve the problems? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Are you saving it across a network or to a local PC?

There's no reason why it shouldn't save locally, or even across a network. I've regularly saved files 4 times that size, but I do know people who have had problems when updating across a network.
