I've got a real head-scratcher. Not sure it can be done but here goes!

I have an excel register (updated daily and done per month) for 150 or so staff and gather their log-in data from CMS and drop it in to a separate spreadsheet on a daily basis so I can report on stats.

One of my colleagues has the daily task of taking data from CMS and manually entering our employees worked hours in to the register. Now what I want to do is get the register to pull the data from my daily spreadsheet. I've sussed the formula which is as follows:

Column B is employee names, and this works fine. What I want to do though is to have a macro whereby I can highlight the day's column in the register and then run the macro which will apply the formula to the whole column, extracting the date from row 5 of the column and using this as the spreadsheet it references (in the above formula

Am I just being too ambitious?
