ok col a contains a list of numbers (non unique) col b has text (non unique) but repeats
what id like is somthing to find number in col a and count any incidence of ....

Maybe =SUMPRODUCT( (A1:A19=C1) * (B1:B19={"frog","pig","toad"}) ) >= 1
yep that's it
