    GETPIVOTDATA in Execl 2000

    Hello,

I ve been struggling with this. I need to extract data from a pivot table using GETPIVOTDATA. Now I know that the syntax in excel 2000 differs from the newere versions of excel. However I tried it and can get it done.

I just attached a simple pivot table for a simple example, it would be great if you can simply show me how u write the formula to extract any data.

    Thank You,

It would also be great if you told us what data you want to extract.

Ok sorry about that. Say I need to extract the sum of the Units produced by 2 operators, on machine 4 during shift one. The answer should be 13, but how can I write this formula in the excel cell.

This example will help me a lot on the big pivot table that I have.

    Thank You,

    GETpivotdata in excel 2000

Thanx for the help, but this still doesnt help. It return an error saying the formula I typed contains errors. I believe this syntax does not apply in excel 2000.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

    Thank You,
