Ok so I have a test in a couple of hours and I cannot get this formula to work properly. It's a teachers grade sheet of all the students and their grades for each test. What I want to do is have a column that depending on their numerical grade will give me a corresponding letter grade. I know it's an IF function but I can't figure out how to string them together. Can someone please help!!

You can create a table on the side with the bottoms of the grade ranges listed in ascending order... in the next column insert the corresponding Letter grades.
Then use a Vlookup() formula with TRUE 4th argument to retrieve the values.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

How would it know that if its greater than 80 but less that 90 to render a B and when its just greater than 80 (say 93) to render an A. I've tried =IF(AND(... but what I can't figure out is how to do multiple sections in one function. Like if B2 is >=90, then A, if <90 but >=80, then B, if <80 but >=70, then C, if <70, then D. That's what I want it to do but I don't know how to talk computer for it.
Try:
=Lookup(A1,{0,70,80,90},{"D","C","B","A"})
where A1 contains the numerical score.
