Checking if multiple cells are blank

Hi,

I have a worksheet with Account numbers in column A. An account number can appear in this column more than once (more than one record per account).

I need to check if Column C is blank for all records on that account. Is there any way to do this.

Basically if the cell in C is blank then that record is inactive. I am trying to identify if an account has any active records.

A1:A100= your account name list
D1 = account name
C1:C100= record list

it looks for each individual account and counts the times there is an active cell, so any 0 results would have no active records for that account.
