Date issues

Lets see if I can explain this.... I have a spreadsheet that keeps track of open orders by "days old". For example A1 would be 5 days old, B1 4 days old, C1 three, etc etc. The PROBLEM is that we lump sat & sun in with Fri.

So, I have used the WORKDAY function which correctly returns the M-F dates, but I need it to display "mm/dd to mm/dd" in the fields on a friday.

Is there an IF formula or something that im missing?

I really have no idea what you're going for.
If A1 is 5 days old... does that mean nothing gets older in the system than 5 days? 'cause it's kinda hard to go back farther than A.

Post an example? Even post your original, just fudge the numbers so that we know what we're trying to do.

The following formula will return a date of the Friday of the week
Eg, A1 is a date you typed, maybe 10/25/2008 (Saturday)
