    Formatting Cells From Another Cell

Hi All, I have Column I, which has a drop down menu in it, which if "WITH NOU" is selected - i would like it to change the colour of the text in column B, to a dark blue?

    Any ideas....

    Hi

Have you tried conditional formatting and used the 'formula is' option, referring back to the cell linked to your drop down menu?

    Hi,

Upload just the relevant bit of your workbook if the book is a large one and 'll take a look.

I've uploaded a spreadsheet - which is the one i actually use, but i've deleted a number of sheets with sensitive material on.
You'll see Column I with the drop down menu - Column B has the Site name (which i would like to format to a dark blue when column I shows "WITH NOU")

Select Cols A to N then format > conditional formating > formula

    =$I2="WITH NOU"

    Hi,

See attached. I've conditionally formatted B265 as an example.
