Malfunctioning SUMIF function???

Hello,

It's been a few months, but another "problem" has sprung:

I have created a sumif formula, but it does not seem to be working.

I have used the sumif function since the last time that this wonderful forum helped me, but this time, it doesn't want to work with me.

I have the proper 'Range', 'Criteria', and 'Sum_Range' selected and the data that is in the Criteria and Range do have exact matches; however, the Sum_Range keeps coming up with a some of 1 in all of the cells containing the formula. I know, for example that the first match should have a sum of 23.

What's wrong with me or Excel?

Can you post a sample of your data, the formula you're using, and what you
expect it to calculate? (Posting a sample workbook would be even better!)

I apologize: I found out, through a little more trial and error, that I had juxtaposed the 'Range' and the 'Criteria' selections in the formula. That's what 2 hours of sleep will get you.
