    Number Rounding

I have what I think is a simple problem but can't seem to find a simple solution.

I have a worksheet that calculates lease rates but a problem I'm having is this?

One cell has a value that is rounded to 2 decimal places. In another cell I want to calculate a value that adds 2% to the value in another cell. However, when the calculation is conducted it calculates using the actual value of the cell rather than the rounded value. This is an issue because if the unrounded value is used the total receivable amount is less than if the rounded value is used..Not good for a business enterprise.

    Any solutions?

Formatting a cell for display doesn't change the underlying cell value.

    =round(a1, 2) + 2%
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate

Try using the ROUND,ROUNDUP or ROUNDDOWN functions
    Hope that helps.
