    Duty Roster

Well I'm back again. I am trying to produce a Automated Duty roster. It should have a list of name in one column and dates in the other columns. The duty day is determined by the number of personnel you have available and wether they are available for that day. I included a example of how it should look after calculating. The issue is that weekends and holidays need to be calculated independently. Each day has a value for the person as the days progress the value gets higher. When the value reaches 1 more then the amount of personnel a "X" replaces the number and the person has duty that day. after that day the their number starts at 1 again.

Here you go. You need to do the first row yourself. Then you just copy row 3 down as far as you'd like.

Will this take care of it for you? If so, be sure to EDIT your original post (Go Advanced) and mark the PREFIX box [SOLVED]

I'm sorry, I misstated. You only have to fill in an answer in cell B2 to get the blue chart going. The rest of of row2 will fill itself out based on that.

Then fill in the first two yellow values in G2, H2, the rest will work on its own.

It's along the right track. However I need to be able to dictate when weekends and holidays are as well as days a person is exempt from duty, on Leave, in hospitol. Holidays will have to be calculated with the weekends.
