    Unhappy OR Function Confusion

    Hey All!
    ColumnA*** ColumnB ************ColumnC
    A****** (=IF(A1= OR(C1:C4),1,0)** F
    B ************************************** G
    C ************************************** A
    D ************************************** E

So im wanting Cell B1 to display true if any of the values in column C
match otherwise I want to display false.
    A 1
    B 0
    C 0
    D 0
But I can't determine how to get this done.

Major Newb here- thanks for all/any help.

    Try:

    =Isnumber(Match(A1,$C$1:$C$4,0)) copied down.

To get 1 or 0 add +0 to the end of the formula and copy down.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

You are so helpful! Thank you so much, for your quick reply.

Now... how do i prevent it from automatically incrimenting the array. Of course the reference cell I would like to change but the array, is there a way to keep that static?

That is exactly what the $ signs do in the formula.. if you drag down the formula, the only thing that should change is the A1...to A2, to A3, etc... the array reference shouldn't change.
