    Functions and Pivot Tables

    Hello everyone,

I am encountering a problem in excel, that I don't know if you can help me solve. I have a dataset and generated a pivot table out of it.
The pivot table has a set of categories, calculated averages for those categories and then a column that calculates the precentage of observations that correspond to each category.

I am trying to come up with a calculation that multiplies each average to the percentage, as a means to calculate a weighted average.

Unfortunately, when trying to use a calculated field, the formula multiplies the average with the number of observations instead of percentage. Is there any way to solve this?

    Thanks!!!
