    Two Worksheets Import and Match

I have to two worksheets with nearly the same information. One sheet has names and id numbers. The other work sheet has names and only the last four of their id number and LOTS of other information I need. How do I combine the worksheets together matching the last names/full ID's into the worksheet with the last names and last four overwriting the last four with their full ID's.

    Regards.

    =Isnumber(Match(1,(Sheet1!$A$1:$A$100=A1)*(Right(Sheet1!$B$1:$B$100,4)=B1),0))

which must be confirmed with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER not just ENTER.. You will see { } brackets appear around it.

This returns True or False depending on if a match is found...

where Sheet1!A1:B100 contains the names and full Ids and you compare to A1 and B1 on current sheet.

changing anything in the formula requires reconfirmation with CSE keys.

Does that do what you want?
Where there is a will there are many ways.
