I can't use a date constant on a formula.
For example these value and formulas in the cells A1:A3:10/5/2009Show these results:
=A1>9/4/2008
=A1>11/6/201010/5/2009Why isn't A3 FALSE?
TRUE

Thanks,
Stefano

Written that way, Excel sees the dates as actual arithmetic ie. 11 divided by 4 divided by 2008
to convert you could make it a text string and add 0 to actually convert it to a date serial number
e.g.
=A1>"9/4/2008"+0
or use Date() function
=A1>Date(2008,9,4)
