    Golf Handicap

Guys can someone please help me,this formula i need is way out of my league.
in this attachment you can see cell 6 is going to be a handicap for players to play off, this need to adjust up or down according to the scores in F6 TO K6.the formula im after is if a score is from 0 to 20 add 3 then 21 to 25 add 2 then 26 to 30 add 1 and 31 to 36 no change, then i also need 37 to 39 -1 then 40 to 42 -2, 43 to 45 -3 and finally 46 or greater -4 as you can see it is a mighty formula if anybody can help much appreciated

    Re: Golf Handicap

Perhaps you could create a table called stableford_points

    0 3
    21 2
    26 1
    30 1
    36 0
    39 -1
    42 -2
    45 -3
    46 -4

Then create 6 columns, called "score adjustment" - so where you keep track of every adjustment per score. Values of these are

    =VLOOKUP(F6,stableford_points,2,TRUE)

then, sum all score adjustments and add to the playing handicap?
