    Returning the value of a field based on todays date?

    Guys,

    Really hoping you can help me out. Ive designed a rota for work and managed to get eveything working apart from a funtion on my summary page.

    The link above is the spreadsheet, wouldnt fit as an attachment on here. What I am wanting to do is fill in the empty Resource table on the Summary page with values in relation to todays date. For example, if we take the first formula needed for "Frontline =" under the "Todays Resource" heading. I need the formula to find that date in either the worksheet titled "Frontline Jan-Jun 2009" or "Frontline Jul-Dec 2009" and return the value of the 25th row (This is the resource level for that day). Just to mention the other worksheet (Jul-Dec) is just hidden in the workbook.

    Hopefully that makes sense and isnt impossible to do, i've tried everything and frustration how now caused me to ask and see if my prayers are answered.

    If I can see how one is done the others I can do myself. Any help you can give would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Jason

    For D10:

    =IF(MONTH(TODAY())<7,INDEX('Frontline Jan-Jun 2009'!$E$25:$GD$25,MATCH(TODAY(),'Frontline Jan-Jun 2009'!$E$1:$GD$1,1)+DAY(TODAY())-1),INDEX('Frontline Jul-Dec 2009'!$E$25:$GD$25,MATCH(TODAY(),'Frontline Jul-Dec 2009'!$E$1:$GD$1,1)+DAY(TODAY())-1))
